Meet Austin Slaughter

Candidate for Mayor of West Haven

Austin Slaughter has proudly called West Haven home for over 20 years. Originally from Roy, Utah, he and his wife, Tori Martin Slaughter, have been married for 22 years and are the proud parents of two daughters, Brynlee and Harlie.

Professionally, Austin serves as Director of Architectural Products at CCG in Salt Lake City, where he leads business development. He is also a licensed real estate broker with 21 years of experience and hundreds of successful transactions. Specializing in contract negotiations. A proven leader and expert negotiator, Austin has built and mentored top-performing sales teams throughout his career. His leadership philosophy is simple: it’s not about being the best — it’s about helping others become their best.

Austin is an avid outdoorsman and lifelong competitor who enjoys nearly every sport. Since 2009, he has served as a UHSAA-certified official for high school football and softball. However, his greatest joy is cheering on his daughters. Brynlee graduated in 2025 as co-head cheerleader at West Field High, while Harlie began her high school soccer career as a freshman in 2024. Deeply committed to his community, Austin has served West Haven for two decades. His service includes years on the West Haven Days committee and as a dedicated member of the city’s Planning Commission. With a strong record of professional success and civic engagement, Austin is ready to bring steady leadership and a fresh perspective to City Hall.
